Photo Update: June 26, 2012

Today was Buffalo Soldier Day!

We learned all about the Buffalo Soldiers and their Role at Fort McKavett.

Campers learned cavalry and soldier skills.

We toured the museum at Fort McKavett.

Campers learned how to shoot bb guns.

We also practiced drill.

In the afternoon we played a game of 19th century baseball. 4 strikes and you're out!

After a trip to the pool, we took the flag down and ate dinner.

    Jamie H,

What a great day! I enjoyed all of the pictures of today's activities. Always wear your cap and put on lots of sunscreen. Most importantly, drink plenty of water! You will love the South Llano State Park. I can't wait to see you and give you lots of hugs and kisses!!! Two and half days to go make every experience count!

    Love,

    Mom & Dad
